DOHENY STATE BEACH

Corner of Pacific Coast Hwy & Dana Pt Harbor Dr.
Doheny State Beach in Dana Point is one of the birthplaces of Southern California surf culture. Separated into two main areas that comprise the scenic 62-acre, beachfront state park, it is a fitting spot to produce a surf festival that reflects both the culture and the history of surfing.
A campground is situated in the southern portion of the park that contains more than 120 overnight campsites. It’s a great place to camp while attending the festival since you will wake up to a view of the ocean and be walking distance from the event. The northern section of the park is designated for day-use and includes a beautiful 5-acre lawn that will be the site of the Doheny Surf Festival. The beach will be the center of attention for water events and surf exhibitions. There will be the “vendor village” hosting quality vendors, educational non-profits, and an interactive entertaining kids’ section. A food court will be located next to the vendor and concert areas with entrances to and from both. Top-notch vendors and high-quality food trucks will provide a variety of tasty meal options. Beer, wine, and margaritas will also available at the Kona Party Place.
Admission to the event is free!
